CHANGES ON THE SUPERVISORY BOARD
Henri Filho retired as a member and Chairman of the Supervisory Board as well
as several Supervisory Board committees effective from the end of the November 7, 2007 Supervisory Board meeting,
for personal reasons. He was a member of the adidas AG Supervisory Board for 14 years, and during this eventful period he
provided valuable supervisory and advisory support to our Executive Board. Dr. Stefan Jentzsch, member of the Executive
Board of Dresdner Bank and elected as substitute member by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting in May 2004,
became a full member of the Supervisory Board on the same date. At the constituent meeting on November 7, 2007, the
Supervisory
Board elected Dr. Hans Friderichs as Supervisory Board Chairman for the remaining tenure of the current
Supervisory
Board. Igor Landau was elected as additional Deputy Chairman, and Dr. Manfred Gentz was elected as a member
of the Audit Committee and the ad hoc “Herzo-Base” Committee. At the constituent meetings of the Audit Committee
and the General
Committee which immediately followed, these committees elected their respective chairmen.
We wish to thank Henri Filho for his many years of exceptional service to the benefit of adidas AG as a member and as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Additionally, we would like to express our appreciation of the tremendous personal dedication, the performance and the ongoing commitment of the Executive Board, the managements of Group companies, the Works Council and all adidas Group employees. We thank all of them for their contributions.
